ObjectiveTo report the utility of combined transvaginal and transabdominal oocyte retrieval in a patient with an ectopic ovary unicornuate uterus.DesignVideo case demonstration technique.Setting(s)University-affiliated fertility center.Patient(s)A 35-year-old woman, gravida 0, 6-month history infertility who presented to our center for evaluation. Hysterosalpingography revealed left uterus patent fallopian tube magnetic resonance imaging laparoscopy showed right located upper abdomen. Her partner was 36-year-old male isolated teratozoospermia. The couple did not conceive intrauterine insemination.Intervention(s)Ovarian stimulation vitro fertilization (IVF). Transvaginal oocytes from deemed possible due anatomic location ovary, intervening blood vessels, limited mobility ovary. Institutional review board approval required this as per institution’s policy; consent obtained publication case.Main Outcome Measure(s)Transabdominal ovary.Result(s)The underwent two IVF cycles. Nine were retrieved during first cycle: seven (right ovary) (left ovary). All mature, five blastocysts cryopreserved.
